Our story began when designer Andrew, took his inspiration and decade-long career in the lighting industry and decided to charter a new path.
After a chance meeting with experienced glassblower John Leveridge and his sister Lee, the three co-founders created Leverint Lighting.
Pairing artistry alongside contemporary styles, the team now produce inspiring designs backed up by skilled British craftsmanship.
With a proud heritage of more than 100 years in the glass blowing industry, our parent company G Farley & Sons Ltd was launched just after the first world war making radio valves and specialist laboratory equipment.
Precision, innovation and performance have always been at the heart of this British made lighting firm’s identity, and its developmental work on x-ray tubes has even been celebrated at an exhibition at the Science Museum at South Kensington.
Inspiration comes from the urban metropolitan that is London and we decided to draw influences for our British made lighting from iconic architecture and those integral engineered landmarks scattered around the Capital.

Our packaging is recycled, leftover glass is crushed, recycled then reprocessed – to reduce our carbon footprint.

When I’m not working I spend time with my family, friends and love an occasional mountain biking trip on weekends.

Head of Production
Hello, John here! I’m one of the co-founders of Leverint Lighting and head glassblower within our London workshop.
With decades of experience in the craft, I head up the production team, ensuring excellent standards are met with every light that passes through.
Though my passion for my work keeps me busy, I enjoy an annual trip to central France with friends and regular carp fishing excursions on the weekends.

Finance Manager
Hi, my name is Lee, sister to John, co-founder and finance manager for both Leverint Lighting and my family company. My role is to handle the accounting aspects of the business, ensuring our finances are operating smoothly amongst various other important tasks.
My favourite thing about work is how close our team is and playing a part in the magical glassblowing process.

We are incredibly fortunate to have some truly outstanding individuals in our team, whose creativity and skill shines in everything they do – from glass blowing to intricate assembly work, our artisans perform every task by hand.
Domestic & Commercial Electrician
A specialist in his field whether its installing a single wall light to an intricate cluster chandelier, Cameron has the utmost professionalism, eye for detail and can conquer any task to hand.
At the weekend he enjoys spending time with friends and also going on mountain biking trips.
