Luxury Georgian Home Lighting: Sussex Case Study

Welcome to the ‘The Hove Georgian Build’ project.

Residential lighting is more than just a practical necessity, it has the power to transform a space and breathe new life into the home. From soft, ambient glows to bold statement fixtures, the right lighting can influence how a room looks, feels, and functions and this brand new project is all the proof you need.

Located in East Sussex, this exceptional Georgian-inspired property is a beautiful study in timeless architecture and we had the pleasure of creating a majestic lighting scheme for the interior and exterior of this property.

Through detailed assessments, space dimensions and renders, we designed a grand-scale Piccadilly pendant light cluster for the most transitional spot in the house; the stairwell.

This custom piece was constructed in a cascade formation, ensuring luminosity could spread across the home evenly and effectively. Featuring, clear handblown shades, whisky-coloured flexes and brushed brass metalwork, this decorative chandelier brought a lovely elegance and drama to the final completion.

And with every gorgeous home interior we believe in an equally beautiful exterior. Though outdoor light fixtures often become an afterthought due to having to compete with indoor budgets and then there’s the challenge of trying to find stylish, IP-rated fixtures. Yet when carefully planned, exterior lighting dramatically elevates the home, accentuating its architectural character and boosting kerb appeal.

This particular home renovation got our lantern-inspired treatment in the form of the charming Windsor wall light. Customised in our antique black option, this IP-rated wall fixture was mounted in a glorious sequence where luminosity and extra security was required by our clients.

These additions instantly elevated the entire exterior, bringing a new level of luxury to the build and a cosy source of light for warmer summer nights.
